I am using a Mobius for my rear camera and am very pleased. As I drive a Toyota pick-up truck a rear mount can be a challenge because of vertical glass but I came up with a good solution. The vertical flat glass is why I wondered if the design of the Hawkeye might make for a good rear mount camera. In fact, if mounted partly up on the rear headliner with the lens dropping down to glass level as I do with the (whole) Mobius it might be viable.
Edit: For some of us one of the fun things about dash cams is coming up with unique solutions, but you guys already know that.
