Help with hardwire kit. Wrong end adapter?

So a few months ago I purchased a mini0805.
That didn't last very long. (2 weeks).
I had bought a hardwiring kit and got the all setup.
Anyways, after the Mini broke I was without a dashcam until today.
My A118C came today.
I took it to my car and used the cigarette lighter power cord it came with and set all my options that I wanted.
After that I untucked the end of the hardwire kit that has been tucked in behind my review mirror.

I immediately notice the end isn't compatible with my new cam?
I had thought all the Mini USB things were the same.
I took 2 pics. One is of the end of the he original hardwire kit and the other is the end that my A118C takes.

I'd like to have this cam wired in to my car without using the cigarette lighter thing.

This is probably a stupid question, but what are my options here?
Can I make the existing hardware kit work with this? Do I have to buy a new one? If so, what do I look for when buying?

Now, how does that work? Does it attach to the original and then in to the cam? So, like a piece that just fits between them?

Just realized that you're going into an A118 so you may need a 90 degree to insure you have enough clearance since the USB socket on the camera angles toward the windshield.
