Hello Everyone.

I'm looking for some advice I want to buy a dash cam for my car, I want something with a front and rear camera that's hardwired and discrete. I have been looking at the Blackvue DR550 but now see that a newer model is available.

What would you recommend?
Thanks
Phil

Early reports suggest the new model doesn't offer much in the way of improvements, something they sorely need

Thanks for the reply

What other camera would you recommend?

Welcome phil-1

I agree Blackvue video quality is lackluster.

What would you recommend?

I need a camera with the following spec

1. Must be discreet
2. Hardwired
3. Front and rear camera
4. Park mode
5. G-shock

Willing to pay up to £400

Phil

Out current flagship product is the Panorama S and G meets all specs except it's not as discrete as you probably want without DIY bracket modification.

We will be selling the new Street Guardian products soon but not sure if parking mode firmware is ready yet. There is a high heat capacitor version in the works which is best for parking mode and green house effect car heat.

Guard Trak series will be even better but is a ways from launch.
