HK3 hardwire kit voltage cut-off.

Does changing the cutoff voltage setting on the HK3 hardwire kit require disconnecting and reconnecting the cables from the fuses? For example, I already have a hardwire kit installed that just works and I want to change the cutoff setting from 11.8V to 12.2V. Do I need to do some sort of disconnect and reconnect cycle to get the "new" limit to work? Or is simply turning the ignition switch enough for this? I have seen various tests but there was no mention of such a detail.

Just need to power cycle the kit. Turning the car off then on again is fine.
