I tried to avoid it, but "what do I buy"?

I resolved to answer all of my own questions and choose my camera, but there is TOO much knowledge here. Some of you are experts on dash cams. If you can forgive my faux pas, I'd like to selfishly make things a little easier on myself and get some recommendations.

I have a Jeep Wrangler. I'd like a dash cam that is discreet (theft concerns), easily mounted in a Wrangler and not very involved to install, resistant to extreme temps (-20 one season and 100 the next), if no screen, wifi would be nice to go with an iPhone app. I'm a dash cam virgin, but decent with tech.

I'm sure I'm missing a few things. Any help would be great.

The new Panorama X1 will be good to leave in 24/7. The remote camera is very tiny, and you can hide the main unit out of site completely. (available this month/soon)

Thanks. I was looking at the Street Guardian or rearview mirror style units, too.

Any familiarity with the Papago! P3? Seems to have a lot of features for the price.

Are any of these compatible with Mac OS or iOS?

Any suggestions on things available now, or comments on the others I mentioned?

I was hoping to pick one up before my trip on Friday, but I'm just having trouble picking one out.
