Hi,

Been lurking awhile doing research and finally decided on the camera I wanted based on this thread.

I'd have to agree with the OP on that one as it's been a great little camera for a little more than 40 bucks. I purchased from estore009.

Granted, the night time vid isn't great in my dark neighborhood, but once you get out on the streets/freeway it's much better. Daytime vid is good enough to prove fault in accidents and that's all I'm looking for. Don't necessarily need plates for that - just proof that I didn't do anything wrong.

Hard wired into my fuse box via a add-a-fuse. Loop recording has been flawless and no errors on my Sandisk ultra 32gb microsd.

That looks like a very nice install. For $40 and the size it is attractive. Video quality is ok but hopefully this camera proves to be reliable.

How are the gaps with your Sandisk? 2-3 seconds as advertised?

There are no gaps. The next video actually has an overlap of about 1 second so that's really safe.

Any luck with the focus problem? Does the camera get very hot after a few minutes? Does the focus go back to normal when the camera is cold?

Still bad on the focus. It's OK when things cool down but to me this is not usable.

When you say gets hto you mean the camera itself getting hot or hot from the sun/heat?

I whonder if a small heatsink on the CPU would maybe help if its the camera itself getting hot?

The camera itself is hot. I'm just chalking this up as a loss. Getting my itronics in on Monday.
