Is it possible to turn on with power source?

Hello!

I have a Xiaomi Yi in my car as a dash cam and I'm improving it since I bought it. Now I found the perfect layout in the car and I have the AUTOREC script.

However, what I really want is the camera turning on everytime I start my engine. I can hardwire it but I don't know if there's any script enabling that function.

My cigarette lighter doesn't have any power without the key, so I'd connect the camera there. This way, everytime I start my engine, the camera receives power and turns on. Is it possible?

I'd say without wiring a trigger to the power button, this is highly improbable.
