Asking this because my previous setup in my previous car, the USB cable is not shielded or very poorly shielded, so it gave a hell of interference to the radio, what I had to do is to buy a well shielded USB cable from Monoprice, but the monoprice cable is very thick with a ferrite core which is very painful to hardwire.
Also the monoprice cable was also a data cable, which tricked my dashcam get into Mass storage mode, I have to buy another USB power supply to get around this.
So question is, is the A119 usb cable shielded? And is it a charging only cable, or a charge/sync cable?
