Is this normal?

So I have my A119 mounted and I was just wondering if it was normal for so much of the mount to not be stuck on, I have tried to push it in and it doesn't change really.
It does seem firm and unlikely to fall off though.

Normal. Mount is flat and windshield is curved, so middle won’t always adhere. Should be fine.

As long as the glass was clean and grease free then that will hold no problem. If you don't like the bubble effect then you can put the sticky pad on the glass first, rolling it on to exclude the air and get it in full contact with the glass, you will still have the bubble but it will be hidden behind the pad. However it is not so easy to position that way.
