He actually gave me a tiny fright, I looked at the slip road as I got to it and nothing was there - looked ahead and he appeared out of nowhere like a bat out of hell lol

Yeah, looks like he saw the cyclist take off and thought he was good to go, Thankfully no pedestrians were crossing at the time
