Long alarm, 0806 doesn't want to shut down

A couple of times my 0806 has started screaming, a steady tone. Nothing I've tried seems to make a difference except for holding down the power button for a really long time until it powers down. Any thoughts?

tried a different memory card?

From experience I know that it happens because of the memory card. Usually i run memory card test to exclude the memory card is not broken and then reformat to fat32. It usually fixes the problem
