••• I am looking for a special y-shaped adaptor cable. I would like to use an extern stereo microphone (with a 3.5 mm stereo jack) and a powerbank at the same time.
Do you know where to get one that will work?

••• Regardless of the use of a powerbank I need a few additional batteries. What do you think of these, does one of these types work with the Git2? Or do you know a more suitable offer?

The Gopro lens cap that fits hero4 also fits Git 2.I have a black one on my Git 2( EBay) I think I have seen lens caps for Hero 4 on Gearbest.
I don't think it is possible on the Gitup cam to charge the battery and input mic. at the same time.
A hero4 owner can , by using the battery back pack, and the USB on the cam! The back pack can charge through its USB, while the ext. mic. inputs to cam

I don't think it is possible on the Gitup cam to charge the battery and input mic. at the same time.

I like this, definitely works on the KISS philosophy.

Too bad it's not as easy to make an actual protector that you can use in flight without causing any vignetting.

Thanks,yeah my diy skills are pretty minimal. I like the way it turned out after I added the black tape. It's very snug now and the microfiber protects the glass on the inside.
Yeah making something that will protect the lens while in use is another story. If I come up with something I'll post it here.

That's for GoPro version.

For Git2 compatible battery, I don't think there is any battery can up to 1000mAh due to the size limited.
Our new battery will be for sale soon.

Start working on upload IOS APP on apple store, but it will still take some time to final release.

Shipped limited new battery out, still improving the battery to better fit in the camera.
