So since i drive a little cheap car most ppl would not be caught dead in, then it off course don't have any support among companies that make extras for cars.
So getting a dashmat i only have one route to go, and thats making my own.
So here is my venture into the world of DIY dashmat.
So first of all what do i need to make a dashmat, and thats pretty simple you need a material thats black as hell and do not reflect any light.
Off course, bar a few high tech materials like vantablack then most black things do reflect light to some degree, so getting a 100% perfect result is pretty impossible.
So i went and got me some black felt thats used for lining flight cases and for the outside of speaker enclosures.
I got that from a company that deal in sound and light for DJ - bars and diskojoints and so on.
For making a template of my dashbord i used some paper meant for wrapping gifts, transferring that outline to the black felt i used 10 mm wide painters tape as i did not have anything to draw on the black felt.
So after a little running back and forth between my car and my little sisters dinner table i got something that work a lot better than the highly reflective Grey dashbord in my car.
