As long as it's attached to the cam mount correctly, and as long as the surface it's mounting to is smooth and clean, it will stick about anywhere. Do be sure that the cam can be aimed where you want before sticking it since it's near impossible to unstick even a portion of the tape once it's made contact. For best results leave the mount attached without the cam installed for 24 hours after attaching so the tape bond will adhere better. The mount for this cam is not as robust as some others but it's plenty good enough as long as it's not abused.
