Memory Card Issue

Anyone have any problems with SanDisk Extreme 256G cards in the WM1?
I receive and error and I've reformatted it on my computer and then the Viofo softare with no change.
After the initial Memory Error message, the unit makes a double beep sound.
Can I format it in the WM1?
Can I actually connect the iphone app to the WM1 if there is a memory card issue?

Yes, you can format in the WM1 and you should.

Yes, you can connect to the camera via WiFi with or without a card. I don't think a bad card would cause it to not connect, but I suppose it's possible.

To format the sdcard in the wm1
Quick format by buttons: Stop recording first, then long-press the yellow triangle button.
