Mini 0806 wont turn on?!

I would think so, but without knowing what the normal charge time is (w/o doing more testing), it's just an assumption.
 
So i have been offered a full refund if i send it back, which i'm going to be doing.

Which other cameras are good? Same kind of size and quality around same price?

I did like it all, apart from the motion detection / parking feature... the motion detection on it is rubbish. I left in that as i had it hard wired, but as soon as i set off driving it wouldn't start recording which i wanted, then i didn't want to have to set it to motion detect every time i left my car etc... so it wasn't that good for what i wanted.
 
Well one thing that I will say is that in light of all the problems I've had, SpyTec has been great and have really lived up to their reputation. If you're in the US and are looking for a great Mini 0806 distributor definitely give them some consideration. 🙂
 
erkme73, what's the latest on your replacement battery? How many minutes of recording time are you getting?
 
The battery is not there for recording... It is only there to shut down the camera safely once the power from the car has been switched off, and also in the event of a crash .

I just received a NEW 0806 off Amazon, and when I plug it in the blue light comes on, but it refuses to switch on...
Tried the 20 second reset - Nothing
Tried connecting to PC holding power and Up button - Nothing

I guess it's going back to Amazon for a replacement - I'll give it one more chance !
