Have you set the timezone?

I live in California. When I tried -8 then the time is messed up. So I left it at 0.

Hi Rocky,

First step would be to update firmware. I would go straight to the October version which seems pretty stable other than for a possible glitch on Parking Guard.

I just updated it to this version. Let’s see how it goes.

then whenever it gets GPS signal it's going to set the clock wrong, will be out by 8 hours if it's at 0, make sure you have it at -8 and not +8, it's very hard to see as the display is so small

Thanks. I just set to -8. It’s weird that the time and date setting is not the same when in display or recording mode. So let’s say it’s 3am right now, if I set it -8 then I have to set it to another number in order for screen to show up as 3am.

it won't change the time until you have a valid GPS signal

Rayman is right. it is -7 in CA right now. 11/5 will change back to -8.

Thanks all. It’s confusing but I think I got the logic. Basically I don’t have to manually adjust the time/date. Just make sure I set to the correct time zone then device will auto adjust itself once the GPS signal kicks in. Sorry for derailing from the main topic of this thread 🙂
