Mini 0906 Not Recording in 1080p

Hi all,

I recently purchased a mini 0906 dash cam from Amazon and installed it with the parking guard hardwire kit. I've done a few drives with it and it only records in 720p30+720p30 even though I've set it to 1080p30+1080p30 in the settings. When I start the car it begins in 1080p30+1080p30, but after a few seconds it switches to 720p30+720p30. Anyone know what's going on?

Could you elaborate on that? As in the red and yellow wires weren't connected to the correct fuse?

Thanks for the diagram. My dashcam enters records in parking mode (720p2+720p2) when parking and 720p30+720p30 when driving. Judging by that pattern, it would fit the first configuration except for the resolution of the video. Based on the diagram it would mean that my constant power is connected correctly but something is wrong with the ignited power? Will check back after tinkering.

I've rechecked the wiring and turns out I've reversed the orientation of the add-a-fuse kit. Now that I've switched back to the correct orientation, it is now recording in 1080p30+1080p30 when driving. Thanks for the help!
