Mobius creates small 1 second or 1 minute files

Got my Mobius set up as a dash cam for 10 minute loop recording, but it just creates these small files with the last second or 1 minute of recording. Any ideas?
Using Kingston 16GB class 4 memory card, formatted in the camera.
Latest 2.41 firmware

Have you tried 3 or 5 minute segments?

Sorry for bumping an older post. I have my camera set up for 5 minute files and it is recording varying length videos regardless of the different cards I use.

Welcome to DCT. For use as a dashcam, the file format should be set to .MOV as .AVI causes undesirable 1 to 2 second gaps between consecutive files. Motion Detection should be turned-off.

If I recall correctly, altering the file name protocol from REC_0001, etc stops file protection from working properly when the 'M' (Mode) button is pressed.
