Mobius maxi mounts

Not 100% certain but surely it must be made to the same size so must made to slide into the original mount
 
The Maxi can "fit" in a Mobius 1 cradle but it will not lock in securely. Best to use the one made for the Maxi.
 
Is it the same design though with the small grooves on the inside of the mount with the locking in tab?

Same basic design concept but different dimensions so the locking tabs on the mount and groves along the side of the camera that hold it in place don't align.
