Got a G1W-C as a birthday gift.
My windshield has a large frit (black dot) area around the rearview mirror. I can't attach the suction cup to it. I bought a rearview mirror clamp from ebay, but it hangs the G1W too low.
Is there any way to stick it to the frit area in a strong but non-permanent way?
I guess I really want the suction cup arm an mount, but with double sided tape instead of the suction cup itself.

There's a 3M bracket for these that is much smaller than the suction mount

That would be perfect.
Do you have a link to one from a company that ships to Canada?

I found something similar to what you describe, but they wanted about $20 for it. Which is a 1/3 the price of the camera...
