Hi all it's been a while since I last posted on here.

I'm still using my mobius dash cam which has been great.

The Mrs has just got a new car and wants a dash cam,can anyone recommend? Are mobius's still good?

She's looking at spending £75 max
 
For under 75, I suggest checking out the A119 V2 or get another Mobius. Video quality from the Mobius is still very much at par or better than many newer models.

There's a decent option under 50 as well, B1W.

Hows the B1W compared to the A119 V2?

Had a look and the YI Dash Cam 1080p 60fps gets quite a lot of good reviews

Also if I was to stretch my budget up to £100 would there be anything else worth looking at?.

The A119 V2 will have better overall video quality so it would be the one i would go for personally.
Dont put too much trust in online reviews like on amazon or e bay, these are often wearing a lot of makeup so to say. In the greater perspective its my feeling 60 FPS don't do a whole lot better than 30 FPS would do.

The YI is OK, but I'd probably lean toward the B1W if the audio has improved, and you want the Wifi App, and no screen
I have an A119v2 in my truck, have a Yi, (somewhere), and had a B1W which I used then gave to a friend. Any should be reliable, the minor shortcomings with the Yi is the size, and the battery.
 
Are these the same model the button layout looks different,plus there's a £16 difference.

One last question is it worth buying the a119 pro version? I can get it cheaper than the a119v2 model
 
I'm just curious, is the cam something your wife will actively use? meaning, a bit 'hands on', or you want set and forget?

She's just got a new car,i'll hardwire it to the fusebox and it'll be left inside the car

Tbh i might buy both and maybe see which is best,Maybe update my mobius

What settings are best for the a119 v2 can anybody help?

Can I use parking mode if I hardwire the dashcam? How many frames?
