Also looking at the end the new rear camera it needs a new cable too.

I would argue against adding a short cable to the new rear camera. Doing so will require a comparatively bulky USB connector (much larger than the cable diameter itself) which will complicate neatly tucking cables into the headliner.

The older rear camera has a pigtail cable so that a weather tight connection can be made when the camera is mounted externally. A short length of heat shrink tubing was provided with the original so that the USB connection could be sealed. There is no such requirement for an internally mounted camera. The new rear camera is better off without its own cable.

That new rear camera looks much more stable than the old hinged type.
Also looking at the end the new rear camera it needs a new cable too.

It uses the same cable as the old camera. It just plugs directly into the redesigned unit instead of the pig tail (old unit).
