New user, need a little advice...

Hi all,

Been using GoPro for some years now, but after reading (a lot) of the Xiaomi alternative, i just ordered one for testing. I have ordered a 23L.

First I will test focus, and calibrate if needed, but do I need to change the lens? Or was that only on older models? Is the lens from Gearbest any different than the rest? Anyone know of a EU dealer?

Next step will be flashing firmware from Fried, and make visual test aginst a GoPro. I do have a spare 4K kingston card, so write speed should not be an issue.

If all goes well, I will sure buy a few more

I you have any advice that might help me in getting best possible picture, please tell me

if you want the IR filter, then yes, you need to change the lens, the L versions got no red coating on the lens
