I mean eight or ten years ago there weren't heaps and heaps of YouTube tech reviewers, apart from the bigger to medium sub count channels. Then it exploded and every man and their dog wanted a piece of the pie.
Loved Andrew Lams videos back in the day. He pivoted towards general documentary style videos which seems to be working out way way better than dash cameras
Its changed it for sure, knowing some of the mid size content creators personally over the years.

Yep. On paper it sounded really interesting and I wanted to start learning about the nuances. However, once the reviews started rolling in and I realized all the issues it had, I didn’t wanna invest the time and energy to do a video just to show how bad the product was. The way I do tests and reviews take a TON of time and energy. There’s so much junk out there that at this point I try and do the research ahead of time to give me the best shot of finding the best products to share with others.

You do a really good job at having fair unbiased reviews and put the hard yards in to deliver quality content. It's a slippery slope for content creators long term as you say if they choose to go down that path, but it's their problem.
