Noisy videos

Just finished fitting my Mini0801, and all seems to work well.

Video quality good (but obviously not Bluray quality).

I have a little problem though - when I play back the videos I have a sort of 'chirruping' noise in the background (rather like cicadas on a hot summer's day in Provence )

The camera is mounted right next to the overhead control panel. Anybody had a similar problem?

It's that rattly old bus you're driving.

Perhaps it's electrical interference from the car's USB supply rather than acoustic noise? Try making a test recording using the 0801's internal battery with the USB disconnected — should work for a couple of minutes.

It's not an "interference" sort of noise - chirupping is best, although "squeaking" would do.

I'll try it on the internal battery. I have a sneaky suspicion it's to do with the OCP, though.
