Odd Behavior

My set up is A329T 3-channel and HK6. Firmware is VIOFO_A329T_V2.0_260104. VIOFO SD card.

Two oddities:

Lately, while driving, the dashcam will announce something (that I can’t make out owing to road noise)>3 pairs of quick beeps>then it takes a snapshot.

Almost every time I get into my truck it takes a snapshot. At first, I thought it might be related to the remote malfunctioning, so I removed the battery but still get the snapshot sound. I have hybrid parking mode with low bit-rate recording. G-Sensor and Parking G-Sensor are set to Low. There is another thread about the parking issue but included it here for more visibility.

Do I need to reinstall the firmware and are these anomalies unique to my device or have others experienced the same?

I have been having the same issue (a329tc with latest firmware) for the past 3-4 weeks as well. No announcement but the same (3 pairs of quick beeps>then it takes a snapshot). The snapshot seems random; sometimes every 2 or 5 minutes or sometimes longer. During this time, the voice commands do not work & the g sensors do not work (tested by hitting the windshield).
I tested all the wiring & everything seems fine (has been working fine since installed in Oct 2025). The only way for me to solve it is turning it on & off. And sometimes formatting the sd card & external SSD. Hopefully @VIOFO-Support can chime in.

Both are indicates that the camera is locking a video because the G-sensor/Parking G-sensor is triggered.
When you are driving on a rugged road or close your door with strength, the camera will feel the shakiness, the G-sensor is triggered.

I get this from time to time on my A229 Plus 3-channel. Sometimes over the slightest bump. Other times I don't even recall there being a bump. I personally live with it and accept it's a quirk of the dashcam.

Mine used to to that and it is related to the G-Sensor triggering a save event. I ended up lowering the sensitivity down to medium in my car which solved the issue. Some vehicle suspensions don't absorb bumps as nicely as others, others will offer more bounce for a softer ride and they can both cause the trigger

In order to alleviate that problem, I had to reduce the sensitivity to Low. Having a car with sport suspension it's a little firmer than average.

In a similar vein, I found that the camera would accidentally trigger a lock when it heard some part of a conversation, as opposed to a direct instruction to the camera. It happened so often that I turned off the voice control altogether.
