parking mode activates in geofence zone

Scenario:

Car parked in front of garage (geofence zone defined for 15m radius), engine off after driving around. Later, start car, pull into garage, cam says recording started during this time. Turn off engine. After a short while (say 15 seconds) cam says entering parking mode.

Here's what I think may be happening. The A329S doesn't have time to get a current gps fix before I shut off car in garage, so without a current fix to match against a geofence, it defaults to parking mode?

Should it use last known gps fix to determine if in a geofence? Seems I've run across a thread talking about this issue of last known fix?

Where would using last know gps fix not work for determining geofence?
 
Or... it seemed to work fine before I added the interior cam, previously only had the front cam installed.

Is there some setup I missed after adding the interior cam related to geofence or parking mode?
 
Try increasing the radius. 15m might be to tight for GPS reading.

Yep, that is probably what the cause is. Happens to me also on several different brands and models of dashcams. I have done this sitting in my garage, and turned the key on to just roll up a window and after turning the ignition back off, the dashcam goes into parking mode due to GPS lock not being achieved in those few seconds it took to roll the window up.
 
This happens to me a lot and it's really really annoying. This feature should be improved so when the camera starts back up after previously being in parking mode, it remembers the last GPS coordinates until it has new ones. In that case if the car is briefly on but doesn't get a new GPS lock, it will still shutdown properly in the geofence based on the previously received GPS coordinates. Alternatively, the feature just remembers a geofence shutdown was the last shutdown method and keep doing this if power is cut before fresh GPS coordinates are received.
