Pics that make you smile

My country should change name to Oinkland, CUZ there are just about 6 million people here, but way past 12 million pigs.

I was looking at this older post of yours kamkar and I think you've got is ALL wrong! It shouldn't be Oinkland, it should be Oinkmark!

A few weeks ago, a guy driving along here almost got his car hit by a badger falling from the sky.
We do not have very many birds able to lift a badger, but a few will do that.
Also the badger was probably hit by a car first.

Yeah i saw that, i never tried 3.1 CUZ i only got on board with windows with win 98se

It's weird that a major airline would be using such an old OS but apparently it works for them (even if the employees grumble about it). Apparently, many sophisticated modern malware exploits won't work on Windows 3.1 because the architecture is so different than more recent system versions, which is one way to skin a cat. :geek:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, today and probably the coming days, the play list in my car will be from certain records made in 66 - 67 - 68 - 69

RIP John.

I suppose DMV employees would frown upon seeing something like that in their parking lot.

It do seem to me, having watched many videos that people have severe problems with the 2 pedals in a car with automatic transmission, and so having stepped on the wrong " brake " they just insist on keep stepping on that same " brake " and the car just keep doing what it is doing.
Well i hope that is the proble, CUZ if it was manual cars, there actually is 2 pedals that would stop the car from spinning around / taking out several cars and buildings.

Actually those clips leave me with a sinking feeling about the future of mankind.

...that people have severe problems with the 2 pedals in a car with automatic transmission...
That reminds me of a story my brother told me. He was working/interning at the General Motors proving grounds ( https://www.google.com/maps/@42.5832908,-83.6739332,5551m/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu ) where they tested prototype as well as production vehicles. One of the vehicles in their 'stable' was a manual transmission with the standard accelerator/brake/clutch pedals. Just to the left of the clutch pedal was a foot rest shaped very much like a fourth 'pedal' of sorts.

Really freaked people out when they first saw it and, apparently, so much so that some of the porters were unwilling to drive it until shown that it really was nothing more than a foot rest versus some super secret new technology under development.

hehe that foot rest is very common in manual cars, you better use it or you risk slowly grinding up your clutch.

The few times i have driven a automatic i have to pretend i have no left leg, CUZ dosing the break with the left foot dont work, well maybe in on the limit toe / heel style driving in a manual transmission.
Which i did sort of practice when i was a younger fool, even if my little German not that hot hatchback dident have a turbo that needed to be kept spooled up.
Probably also why no one liked to drive with me back then, even if i also back then had a perfect driving record.

My Toyota truck has a 5 speed automatic transmission, plus 5 - 4x4 gear levels including a super low gear that has saved my ass many times during the winter. It's the first vehicle I've ever owned that doesn't have a manual shift and I like it as it works really well and can be shifted as if it were a manual when needed. Somehow the thing still has a foot rest over on the left and I use it all the time. I think they stuck it in there because they know there are other truck buyers like me that came from the manual shifter world. The interesting thing is that Toyota's modern automatic transmissions get better mileage than the same trucks with manual transmissions and that was never the case before.
