Dash Cam
DCTeam, A118, A119S-V2
I know this cam is relatively new still, but I do see that there are the manufacturers/devs here keeping us updated on all of the various dash cams (much appreciated btw!).

Similar to how the mobius for example had an update to flip the image so folks could mount it on the roof/windshield/etc, would any of the manufacturers/devs consider (or keep in mind) an option in a future update to flip the image for the B40/A118?

Considering the fantastic form factor of this cam and how it was designed to be mounted with an easily adjustable lens, mounting it upside down at the bottom (especially in the rear) would be ideal for some situations. For example, in a hatchback/van/truck you could mount the camera almost vertically (power cable pointing downward) against the rear hatch door/sill and with the adjustable lens just angle it so it is peeking over the edge.

Would be similar to this cat haha.

Technically possible from a firmware perspective but the hardware is not designed with this use in mind

you could always flip the video on your PC if needed, though the timestamp would be upside down. you can always turn off the timestamp to avoid that issue. playing back on the device should be fine since it's already upside down.

as for mounting in the back window such as a hatchback - it would be easier to mount at the top in most cases since that would mean you wouldn't have to run the wire as far, since the hinge is almost always at the top of a hatchback.
