Rear Dash cam

The dome z7 seems to be around the price of the G1WH and is smaller. Do you have a video to show how good the quality is on it?

I think tho the G1WH will be too big in the back.

Yes I would like something with a close price range to the G1WH.

For 40-50$ you can not get stealth looking dashcam. Mobius, Innovv are the closest in price vs mini-size.

Ok I do like the mobus and it is small so it won't block much of the view. Where do you recomend to buy this?

I think there is a section of trusted / authorised re-sellers if you check Mobius sub-forum or even main page.
One of the most thorough and up to date lists of trusted Mobius vendors is available on the RCGroups The Mobius ActionCam Support Thread.
Ok I was looking here and saw some buyers (https://dashcamtalk.com/mobius/). I saw the one on amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/B00DP1WYD2) Since it does look like the seller is in the US for quick shipping. Should I get the standard one or the wide angle lens one? The wide angle seems cheaper.

Spytec has a good reputation here on DCT forum and also Amazon feedback. They are also presented here ( @spytec ). So, if any troubles / questions, - you may always contact them via DCT forum.
Wide vs standard FOV lens: wide lens gives you more side view, but objects are slightly further. With narrow lens is less side view, however ( objects ) numberplates are closer and easier to read.

I would like to setup a rear dashcam, however my back windows are tinted so I'm guessing that wouldn't work?

Here's a clip of my A118-C rear cam through my very dark privacy glass -

For comparison here's the SG9665GC in the same vehicle and the same street -

I forgot to mention also how does the Mobius handel tinted windows?

it will handle privacy glass better than aftermarket tint
Ok can you also make it record even when the power goes because if I park my car I would like it to still record.

Mobius has a function to continue to run on battery at power off in the latest firmware, might suit your need

Ok and 1 last question. How long can it record off of battery?

around 2 hours on the current model, they have a bigger battery now
Hmm ok I might put in some small external battery so it can get a bit longer. Is there a cam similar to the mobius but will have motion detection?

Constant charge/recharge cycles and the extreme temperature fluctuations won't be good long term for batteries in an automotive environment. This is why most dashcam shoppers/owners opt for supercapacitor based products.

Ok, Where I live tho it hits 100 - 120 degrees fahrenheit where I live so the car does get super hot. So far with my current cam the G1WH has had no issues. So if I get the mobius I should just just it keep running while parked?

I use a power bank to run my Mobius in loop-recording mode when I leave the car parked unattended. But I wouldn't do so in the temperature range you describe. You've been lucky with your G1WH so far, but you're asking for trouble.

For this job the Panorama X1 would be my choice, but it's $200. Consider the $90 Blacksys CF-100 ... outstanding value for money ...
