Red Light Runner Causes 3-Car Collision-USA

Had front row seat for this 3-Car collision today in Lake Forest, Ca. The woman in the white car had to be transported to the hospital and the others were slightly injured. Camera is a G1wH with a CPL filter and running Shadow GT300W 1306180-SC-2 firmware.

Blimey that's nuts - no idea what the guy in that black car was doing - hopefully they throw the book at him (or her) for that one! You can see they had the anchors on right at the last second but it was way too late by then.

Hopefully they'll all be ok!

The G1W really does take some good quality footage though - the insurers will be grateful of that one!

Any excuse given from the blue CR-V's driver? How many people were in the white sedan. Looks like there were passengers in the rear. That Range Rover on the right could have sounded the horn to give a slight warning to the drivers ahead.

You should also get an agent for the video clip. Some tv shows might want to add it to their worst drivers episode or something like that and you can get a royalty. Thanks for the heads up. I will look into the agents. As far as the crash, There was one elderly woman in the small white car that was hit and she was hurt pretty bad a taken by ambulance to the hospital. She was pretty dazed and looked to be quite hurt. There was one guy in Honda that ran the light, and he was also pretty dazed and I didn't hear what he told the police since he was being attended to by police and paramedics away from me. There were 2 older gentlemen in the white SUV and they seemed unhurt. Hopefully the woman is ok.

You should get a police report on the situation just to be nosy I think you can obtain one as a witness, not sure. Worth a try.

I only dream of catching accidents like that on my dash cams. Hopefully everyone recovers and that video will really help the victim and you are great for stopping to assist.
