Hi, I recently had my F770 removed from one car & reinstalled in another & now the parking mode does not operate/record.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Regards
John

Not so much info to go on but this means they didn't wire it correctly.
the wire with the fuse (probably red) goes on permanent power
and the otehr wire (probably yellow) on a fuse that only gives power when the engine is on.

when you are parked, does the camera record continuously or switched off completely?

Thanks for your reply, the camera does not record when parked.

The Battery wire is probably connected to a ACC/IGN switched supply.

Also double check parking mode is enabled in the settings.

Where do I find the 'parking mode setting'.
Thanks

One way is to connect to the F770 via WiFi and using the Thinkware smart phone app.

Another way is by loading the SD card in the PC viewer app.

If it worked in your previous car then the camera setting should be "on" for parking mode.

So as flip9 says, the camera is probably on a fuse that switches off when engine's off.

Red wire goes on permanent source (ie always power on the fuse)
yellow goes on source that switeches off with engine

this way The yellow wire "tells" the camera when the engine is off and
park mode should start.

Thanks egonvdv, I am on holidays at the moment, I have no tools or electrical connectors with me, so I will change the wires over next week. I would think the installers should know how to connect it up correctly.
Cheers John

I had the chance today to get some connectors & tools & I have swapped the wires over & all is good as it should be. Thanks for all the advise & assistance.
Cheers
John
