I placed my Viofo behind my rear view mirror, BUT I don’t like the positioning and want to move it.

Whats the best way of removing the adhesive that the cam holder is stuck on with?

Most cameras come with a little piece of string you can use as a wire saw to cut thru the sticky pad ( be careful not to saw into the plastics of the mount )

Once off you can roll the rest on the windscreen off with a thumb, and remaining residue if it bother you, you probably need some form of solvent to get off.
I change cameras often so i just remove what i can with my fingers, for me thats good enough that the new camera will stick on just fine.

Floss?
You need new tape too. I bought the below off eBay, but haven't used it yet:
Genuine 3M VHB #5952 Double-Sided Mounting Foam Tape Automotive Car 15mm x 10FT
Edit: actually it's 1.5" wide
