Viofo dashcam doesn't need U3 cards, U1 is enough. I think you have heat problems with your camera because it is a sample model an not a final version.

I doubt that 30min low bitrate in parking mode before sunrise would cause heat problems. However, if my test model is not representative of the retail version then perhaps I should stop testing, so that my results are not misleading.
