    Description:
This is supposedly improved version of mini 0806.
The size of 0826 is bigger than 0806 even though it looks similar.
0826 is much longer, thicker and overall feels heftier.
For side by side shots of those two, refer to @Chris Hunt's THIS post.

Features wise, not much difference as both use Ambarella A7LA50 chipset.
It also has GPS in the mount and ADAS features as expected.
0826 is priced much lower than what 0806 initially sold for.

In your images, it looks a little large for a side mounting. Can you check for vibration of the image while the car is idling with air con turned on, or just above idle? A few people had a vibration issue with the 0806 so hopefully this is not worse...

And check the record time on internal battery please...

Looking at the pictures comparison seems that Mini will not remain so Mini regarding size.

    enjoy,

Dashcam size should be considered in conjunction with the mounts. Once the other cameras have suction or adhesive mounts attached, they'll look far more conspicuous, i.e. less discreet than the Mini 0826.

Yes, I know that. Too many times the mount was destroying a camera small size concept.

    enjoy,

Especially when the mount is as big as the camera like with the 0903!

    Hi CYL,

The idea of the 2 clear films is to make it easier to remove your whole camera including mount from your car.

You attach the clear film to your windscreen (basic instructions to do that are in the manual). Then attach the mount to the clear film, instead of your glass windscreen. Then you can easily remove the whole lot from your windscreen. Not sure if it adds any real benefit though as you still have the clear film stuck to your double sided tape.

    Will do.

I wonder if the mini 0806 mount can be used with this.
I still have that one attached in one of the cars but don't want to fry it without knowing they are the same.

Usually the cameras are protected but you can check each pin of each mount which have Power and Ground.

    enjoy,
    Mtz

Hehe... so we have to clean even more area instead of the small mount?
How does it make it easy to remove?
Does the film just peels off or it also needs the same scrubbing like VHB tape?

I'm guessing that the clear film is less sticky than VHB but because of the large surface area the total holding force is still high enough.
But when it's time to take it off it can peel off more easily than VHB.
Possibly most relevant to people with a tinted layer on the windscreen?

Does the 0826 work with the 0805 GPS mount?

Just peels off. It uses water to vacuum seal to the windscreen. No adhesive on the film at all.
