@PAPAGO! GS272-US GoSafe 272 Ultra Slim Full HD 1080P Dashcam Review.
This was sent to me for review.

GoSafe 272 GS272-US review summary:
It has great form factor. Pretty small and sleek design.
Build quality is very good.
Video quality during daytime is decent but not as good as Ambarella model like GoSafe 520 but for the price and good build quiality, it's pretty good.
Night quality is good as shown from the screenshots and videos above.
I'd put its video/audio quality to Novatek based dashcams but with better build quality than generic ones and has better features. I think night is better than the Novatek based dashcams.

The mount is very sturdy and can pan in any direction.
Since it has tripod mount, it can be mounted on other mounts if needed.

The driver assistance features like headlight reminder, stop and go work really good.
Stop and Go feature immediately beeps when front car moves on green light or heavy traffic.

For the price and sleek form factor with better build quality than generic dashcams, it's very good option.
If you need better video quality, go for the Papago GoSafe 520 that's based on Ambarella A7 chip and has all the similar driver assistance features.

It has some neat features like stop/go alert and headlight reminder.

Physically,
it's very slim with the lens housing kind of molded with the camera body.
It's mostly black so not too noticeable.
Build quality is very good and feels well made.
Most of the buttons are on the back next 2.4" LCD screen.
Edges have just one button or port each making it more sleek.

Top: Mount attachment and min USB charging port.
Note: The mount is a 1/4" screw unlike the normal slide in/out in most dashcams.

I'm curious what your review will say about the video quality recording. I did not think it was good even at 1080p setting (video quality of an A118C replacement is much better) and have a bad experience with a half broken LCD screen (see https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threads/defective-lcd-screen-on-gosafe-272.11953/) after only 3 months of minimal usage.

I also dislike the shiny silver ring around the lens and bright white logo/lettering on the front. I thought these things made the dashcam very noticeable from the outside.

Lastly, the mount has a lot of adjustments which is nice, but I wish the mount also had an option to prevent panning left/right as I thought it was too easy to pan the camera with a slight touch. I found pressing buttons on the dashcam would easily dislodge it from where I had it centered and would require adjusting again to re-center. It would have been better to have an adjustment that allowed tightening it so the dashcam couldn't be panned and would always be centered.

@budster
I'll add videos soon.
As for the logo, acetone or even weaker solutions can easily wipe it off.

The ball mount needs to be tight if you don't want it to move easily.
Also, I don't see a need to touch the camera once everything is setup.

If you leave it for panning and then also be tight at the same time, it won't happen.
I'd leave it tight as panning is a very rare case.

ok at that price point it's probably the expected result, they have models that perform much better but are of course more expensive

@Sunny, what's your opinion of the video quality compared to other dashcams you've used? I thought it's rather poor and compared to a A118C/GW1-C, the video quality on these cheaper generic Chinese ones is much better. The Papago being the first dashcam I ever used, I felt let down by it since I thought its name brand would convey superior quality.

Maybe you also want to provide a night-time sample?

Will add night videos soon and summarize how I feel.
Here's one more from morning time. Can't compare to GoSafe 520's Ambarella A7 quality though.

One thing that works great is the stop and go alert.
After stopping at a light, when the car in front moves, it beeps twice same as the GS520.
