The live preview is pretty good, not much lag at all.
You can switch between the camera displays and take screenshots here.

Updating firmware:
Firmware can be updated via the Vantrue app or by downloading the .bin file from https://www.vantrue.net/Support/detail/id/257.html and copying it directly on the root of the SD card.
Restart the camera and it'll automatically update the firmware.
I downloaded the file and updated it while connected to my computer.

I thought Denmark has mountains.
Colorado is definitely full of mountains, great for skiing in the winter and hiking and rafting in the summer.
If you like cold place...

No no. The tallest mountain here, is just 170 M tall ( 558 feet ) there are 2-3 piles of dirt almost equally tall, one of then ironically called sky mountain.'
What constitute a river here, well in most other places i think it would be called a creek, actually many rivers here, you can jump over them if you want to.
We do have a name for a smaller river in Bæk / brook and it is also used, but then its most often running water 1-2 feet across and inches deep.

This whole country are pretty much ice age melt water deposits or dirt pushed up by the ice sheet that covered us too, but under the dirt some places you can find chalk from the cretaceous age.

Colorado, i like for one thing especially, as i recall the gun laws there are not yet flipped upside down, so in my perspective very nice.

A picture of sky mountain / himmel bjerget, taken from the lake it sit beside.

So if you are into cycling holidays, well we are a very nice place, no " killer " hills to go up, and lots of bicycle paths beside roads, and in general a motoring culture that largely accommodate the pedal pushing folks.

It is very ironic that a Dane are about to with the worlds toughest bicycle race for the 2 time in a row, and it having many mountains and him being especially good on the long roads up a mountain.
But he is not groomed for that in Denmark, i think he live and train in Italy, Danish cycling races are mostly ending in sprints, and often with severe side wind as the only challenge.

Have you had any issues with the magnetic PWR button cover coming loose on this model? or it doesn't apply?

So the N4 Pro does support real-time live preview?

It does via the app, when you're connected to the camera via wifi. If that's what you're referring to mate

Thanks Agie, I was wanting something where I could watch a live preview say from home. It's funny though because Vantrue customer support said it didn't, weird. The only other one I could find was the Garmin 67W.

Remote viewing are not supported on the N4 as i understand, that require a "smart" dashcam that also have a SIM card inside, or support it via a separate 4G access point.
It is now becoming a " norm " that the cameras have it all inside so you also need to put a SIM card in such a camera to enjoy that part of it, but it is not uncommon for older or some cameras to still have a separate 4G AP, which is also OK as then they cam share the same AP with several models, and IMO that taking up a little room on the dashboard or the corner of the windscreen is no problem.

What Angie mean is just that yes there is a live preview you can see in the APP; but its generally just for lining up the cameras during install.
