Given our nice warm weather yesterday and today (first day above 50F since last year), it was time to wash the cars. The T800 is AWESOME for blowing off the heavy water after a wash, which makes drying the car a breeze (sorry, couldn't resist the pun😉 ). On its highest setting, the T800's battery is plenty sufficient to thoroughly clear the water from a car before the battery runs down. After a few minutes of running the T800 on its highest power setting, the battery pack in the handle was clearly warming up. It wasn’t what I’d call hot, but it was noticeably above body temperature.
With time in between jobs to allow the battery to cool down and be recharged (it also charges well with a Dell USB-C laptop charger), the T800 has sufficient battery power to pretty thoroughly dry my mid-size sedan and our mid-size SUV. Both vehicles have a ceramic coating installed, so the water beads just rolled right off! The blower worked great on the large body panels, but where it was really most useful was on the wheels (especially around the lug nuts that always seem to hold lots of water), tire sidewalls, and on the front grille that has just about one million nooks and crannies that hold a ton of water.
The T800 made the job of drying the cars much easier and I didn't have to stop to wring out my towel part way through the job this time around! I suppose I should have made a video of how well the T800 worked, guess I'll have to do that next time around.
