Rollei Car-Dvr 200 / A7LA55

The place I really see the difference is if I zoom in to look at a registration plate, either using the zoom in Registrator Viewer or for better clarity save a frame at the resolution of the video and then open it in a graphics application so that I can examine it at pixel level. The difference isn't huge, it is 40%.

I believe I've already stated That. The all-around picture is what I'm seeking. I'm very much aware of splicing and re-imaging.

I prefer the wide lens personally (yes you're correct that is the B lens) but will more than likely end up with another standard lens anyway just for the fun of it :)

The official seller on eBay says to use these guys for US fulfilment:

There's also Spytec selling them on Amazon US via Prime so with quick shipping, and I just found this one with a car kit:

Amazon have great customer service IMHO so maybe go with one of the options which is fulfilled by Amazon?

Thank you very much. Will use the fist link, will "not" deal with Spytec. Most reasonable price.

P.S.- Just noticed that the 0803 does not include windscreen mount on initial link.

@reverend

What is your view on replacing the battery with a super cap on Mobius? Will the super cap affect any of the diodes, or circuit board in any way? Why would not Mobius offer a unit with a super cap at the onset?

That's correct, they come with a tripod mount but you usually have to buy a windscreen mount - they're only a few dollars extra though :)

As for those screenshots I'm not exactly 100% but it's definitely either the 3, 4 or 5. The thread suggests the 4 but it's through Google Translate so things get lost in translation.

As for the battery / super cap, I have both sat here but to be honest I like the flexibility the battery gives me for now. If I put it in the car full time I'll put the cap in place, but for now I'll leave it with the battery so I can easily use it out and about.

The Mobius wasn't designed for the dash cam market originally, more the RC market and the battery lets them easily just hook it up and get footage without worrying about wiring :)

Thank you very much. Battery is fine.
