I will be getting the Xiaomi Yi camera, it's en route! In the meantime, I am wondering if anyone has encountered issues with either of these memory cards. Kingston is low in cost:

Kingston 32GB - http://www.ncix.com/detail/kingston...04.htm?affiliate_id=58025&click_id=1249077019

Sandisk 32GB - http://www.ncix.com/detail/sandisk-...04.htm?affiliate_id=58025&click_id=1249077040

Both have lifetime warranty but I was wondering if I could save $6 and the write speed of the Kingston would still be ok?

Any feedback?

You could try the Kingston, but I think most people buy Sandisk since it is somewhat known for reliability.

That' what I was thinking. I have used Sandisk from way back and know they were reliable for CF cards for photography. Have not kept up but sounds like Sandisk is still as reliable as before?

Personal opinion... None of my Sandisk cards have failed on me (full size SD Card [Extreme and Extreme Plus series], Micro SDHC/SDXC [Ultra and Extreme series])...

Also, the Samsung Micro SD card I bought a while back haven't failed either (Samsung Class 10 Micro SDHC 32gb [black card, blue letters], was one of the earlier Samsung memory cards)

Mainly, the only brands I probably would use is either Sandisk or Samsung. Kingston and Lexar would be my other options if they are significantly cheaper than Sandisk and Samsung.

Kingston is pretty good but I don't get a sense their reliability is better than Sandisk. Their SSD's have had very bad reputation lately. Still cannot decide between the $6!

been using sandisk and samsung with mine. No difference

I've found the Sandisk 64gb 95mbs card not reliable. I bought similar Samsung cards and they've been great.
