2 ir 3 wire?

Your specialist has not connected it correctly, sounds like the yellow wire is on an accessory switched circuit instead of a permanent circuit
So you dashcam is actually going/switching into parking mode and records parking time-lapse footage , but just not long enough , right?I inspect the wires and everything looks ok as I post the previous posts. I measure the voltage between wires, not with a lamp. Yellow wire is on permanent battery, red through contact. Right now I want to ask you if you know that 12.00-12.01 volts is all right as it was measured between cams wires and the cut off is at minimum 11.8. Maybe is too near the cutoff volt and thats why cam record only few seconds, minutes after lock the car. If that, how is it possible other to record through parking mode? Or is something about a software/hardware bug?
My car is quite new, a audi a5 2016.

Only when I switch off engine and lock the car for a few seconds, minutes and the music player stays on.
if it goes into parking mode for a few seconds but then turns off the B+ is not constant and must be ECU controlled, test any circuits with the car off and locked and wait some time to see if the power goes offOnly when I switch off engine and lock the car for a few seconds, minutes and the music player stays on.
I had the 3-wire setup in my 2014 A5, and it worked great. I used an empty fuse slot (ATO mini) for accessory switched power and an empty fuse slot (ATO) for constant power, both on the driver/left side fuse panel on the side of the dash. You have to be careful, though, because not all of the slots are necessarily 12V.My car is quite new, a audi a5 2016.

Where are you measuring the voltage? I don’t see where the tap is.
Not in front. From the back side where the wires are connected. The fuses from wires were cut and inserted in the base of car fuses.
