Standalone GPS logger suggestions

Now that I have a camera onboard, I was thinking that why not also put in a discrete GPS logging box.
I'm not looking for a remotely accessible one, but just a plain small box, that would log NMEA messages to SD card.
It doesn't have to have a battery, as I would wire it up to capture 24/7.
Size is not of the highest priority, although not larger than a cigarette box would be good.

Suggestions?
 
Does your camera have a GPS interface? If so you can put a G-Mouse on it and would work.

No interface on the DR32.
 
Why not use your Android phone to record tracks. Locus is great. My Tracks is also OK.

That would require me to plug it into the charger too often and also turn it on to start recording every time I enter the car. Not convenient.
