I didn't find anything about sharing in the manual or the app so I connected my phone (Samsung A20 with 126 gb available on SD card) to the A800 per instructions, sat phone on the dash 10 inches from the A800 and selected some video to download. It took almost an hour to download 15 minutes of video! When 70 mai says “Sharing is not a problem anymore” what sharing are they talking about? When I share other things on my phone or computer I just click a button, tell it where to go and its done.
The store promo further says "Share the footage to your insurance provider right after having an incident. Share your photos or videos to social media platforms including Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, VK, etc. Save your memories of anywhere you go and anything you see in the trip." They make it sound like its a very simple process yet I didn't see anything in the manual about how to do it. All I can find is the download to phone instructions and that takes forever. I know I can remove the card and read it in my laptop but that is a real pain (dashcam is hard to get to, card very difficult to eject, install card in adapter, install adapter into laptop, read card, etc) contrary to what the promo implies.
Since the dashcam has Wifi why can't I just link it to my network and download to my laptop or PC or use the web to "share" video from the app? Why else would they have that ridiculous password except to link to Wifi networks?
I understand that I'm not tech savvy so I'm probably making it difficult when it's really not ... so what am I missing?
