Looks like I have bought a unit that suffers from it. Downloaded some footage last night and it rattles like mad. I only had it fitted on Wednesday!

Is there a fix or should the unit be replaced?

Thanks.

Yes best to get replaced at once, retailers and manufactures should not think we would do anything else.

Thanks guys. I'll give them a ring on Monday. Apart from that I'm really happy with it.

Apart from having to sit in the car to review footage like a billy-no-mates :)

Get in touch with the supplier as it shouldnt do that. It was an issue for a little while but they fixed it.

In the beginning I thought the rattling was coming from the buttons on mine since it seams to be so common. Turned out to be the cable access door rattling, not the buttons. Should be an easy fix with a small piece of sponge foam shoved up inside.
