Do you have a video that shows the performance of this while driving?

Julian, here is a video I took this morning, just before having my windshield replaced. The AI captures the couple walking; the blurring is enabled once the subjects are close enough, starting with the man, then the woman.

The AI blur needs to be larger and more solid. Currently, the AI appears to be very focused on the face and may miss it if the person is looking down or away from the lens. I will link this video to the Vueroid engineers to have a look at. I understand they are evaluating these videos. I would like to see a dark circle around the head, and that the circle stays there until the person is out of the frame. That is what I have suggested.

Julian ... yes, confidence is a good word. The AI captures the face, but it seems to not be confident about the face. Vueroid is looking at this situation now, I will keep in touch with them about their progress.

Here are two pictures of license plate blurring. The first is my car approaching a stopped car, and that cars plate is blurred out. The second are two plates blurred on cars that are parked.

To be more technical, the AI needs a much larger sample size in order to "learn" how to better obscure faces. This could also be achieved by making the blur larger to account for erratic movement of humans. We don't want in perfect unison so the blur will have trouble following along even under ideal circumstances.

Due to the fundamental operating principles of dashcams (creating and deleting files), fragmentation occurs within the SD card, which reduces write performance.
For this reason, most dashcams recommend periodic formatting.
Vueroid uses a special filesystem to prevent this.
We believe that avoiding periodic formatting is more beneficial to users.

vueroid use different

the Vueorid S1 operate 12V directly for supporting parking mode without Hardwire cable. and include Cigarchage cable also support 12V . most of dashcam operate with 5V, but for using parking mode user have to purchase Hardwire kit. that wyh Vueorid is differnent with others. the usb-c port of Vueroid S1 is for databackup , user just unmount the S1 , connect it to desktop or Mobile phone, and booting with OK button press, S1 work as usb memory stick.

You are right . Im CTO of Vueorid manufacture company. so we are still gathering and training . we expect the performance will be better with time.
