These cars think they have the ground clearance of a semi

Naw, you just need to drive faster! Get a running start.

I have a friend who decided to try that method in a small Nissan hatchback.

He had completed a 4x4 training course for work and thought the best option for crossing the flooded section was to maintain speed and create a bow wave. He hydrolocked the engine and bent a couple of rods

All he needed to do was drive through slowly and he would have made it, or turned around and gone around the block.

Yes, but the 'faster' method makes for better videos. I don't think I'd go through the water in this video even in a truck. You also never know what is under the water, sinkholes that opened up, etc.

Mercedes should have hanged back to see if the Ford would have made it. Dumb and dumber.

Texan wussies... ;) (joking, never mess with flooded roads).

Here in Boulder, CO, we drive through it. :D

But also end up like this sometimes:

Both from last year's flood.

Dude, a little water is going to keep them from getting to the Cannabis store.

(WTF do they call them?)

They call it weed or pot here but not the ones growing in your backyard.
Also called Ganja which is more authentic international name that came from East Asian country from the hippy days of 70's from India, Nepal etc...

I meant what do they call the legal pot stores? (Besides 'gold mines'?)
Do they have some distinctive signage like pawn shops and porn stores?

We've had medical marijuana for long time already abundant so those shops were the 1st ones to sell recreational ones.

But now, there is no naming standard, anything goes:

And we have a new meaning to Pot-Luck: ;)

It certainly did in this case. One of the managers sent me a video of him attempting to cross the "puddle". The poor guy was rather embarrassed about the whole thing, so we agreed not to post it online.

Here its still illigal, but rest assure the 5 mill ppl in Denmark can keep up with the sick ppl of several US states when it come to consumption of cannabis.
And it wont take much asking around to find a place to buy some, and no need to worry as police here are not allowed to pose as dealers or buyers for that matter.

To me the problematic is the strength of the stuff ppl smoke now, but the bulk of the stuff here is still Moroccan "landscape"
