Time to switch from parking mode to continuous?

Have an f770 on latest firmware and I find it seems to take a good 30 seconds from turning ignition on to swap from parking mode to getting the continuous recording will begin message, is this about normal? My previous Mi-witness was a lot quicker

Yes this is normal for this camera. I really dislike how long it takes my F770 to start recording. I also have two Street Guardian X2 cameras, they start recording in less than five seconds.

Dang it, these forums keep making me late for work.
