tossed between to Viofo models

Back in the market for a new camera or two. I'm tossed between two Viofo models. the A129 Plus Duo or the A139 2 channel.

I do find the display screen handy in the past as it assures me that the camera is working and I have taken still pics / screen shots when on holidays.
other then that, it would be the only reason for a display screen as far as I know. I have watched about 6 video reviews on the A129 Plus Duo and only a couple of A139 videos that I found interesting.
still no luck in deciding which model is best.

fyi I'm not interested in the A139 3rd camera no interest in recording the inside cab of the vehicle.

If you only want F+R cams then the A129 Plus is how I'd go. It's been around a little longer, has seen more user reports, and has a;ways been developed and optimized as 2 channels. The A139 would also be worth considering if it fit well and the A129 didn't but I can't see where that would be an issue. There may be some advantages in features but that only matters if you're going to use them.
