Unable to upgrade Firmware

[Hoverfly]

A119 v3 operating well for 18 months. Removed SD card to view recorded files. Everything recorded up to present time ok.
Present f/w version is A119.180913.v4.01 so I decided to update it.
Downloaded FWA119V3.bin (5.41 MB) Version: V2.6_20220808 from Viofo website.
Followed the recommended procedure to update which resulted in failure.
As well as, or part of the failure the camera will only record for exactly 1 minute and then turns off.
I have tried with the original SD Card and a new, unused sd card.
Loop recording set at 3 mins

Hope someone can help/advise.

Looking at the old firmware the format doesn't look right. V4.01 ?

Are you sure you have a V3 ?

Good question. I thought I did now I have a doubt.
On the unit itself the serial number is: s/n A119-016390181.
How can I tell whether or not it is a V3?

Can't help with serial numbers as mine are covered with the padding

SORRY!
I think I actually have a V2 Pro and the 'switching off' after 1 minute is actually the screen saver.
